Invisalign vs smilelign

Sorry not really an AIBU, but has anyone had their teeth straightened as an adult with either Invisalign or Smilelign systems? Wondering how they compare in terms of price and success levels. There seems to be very little info about smilelign, whereas invisalign seems more established?
I have local providers for both. Got a quote for £3300 for Invisalign but to get a smilelign quote I have to pay £150 for moulds to be taken etc... so not keen to do that if it won't be any cheaper than invisalign. Thanks

I started Invisalign in November, I can only recommend it. I needed a tooth out and have had a few small problems but they've been sorted quickly and with no fuss.
It's so easy to get in the habit of wearing the braces, I carry a case and toothbrush/paste in my handbag and it is very little extra effort.
It is expensive and everytime a change to a new brace it's a little uncomfortable but I 100% would recommend. My OH and close family can see the difference in my teeth already.

Thanks so much for your reply. May I ask how much it is costing if you don't mind? Good to hear you quickly got used to the routine.

I had Invisalign 10 years ago. It was very good and teeth are great.

No problem, happy to help.
The first week or so was a pain to get used to but now I don't think twice- has helped me lose a bit of weight as if I can't be bothered cleaning my teeth/braces o can't have the snack!
I have top and bottom braces and I'm paying just under £4k, bottom teeth are quite severe and I needed teeth out. More than I wanted to pay hahah
They are quite good with repayment plans and once you've paid the (large) deposit you can repay as much or as little as you're able each time as long as by the end of the treatment you've paid in full.

I had a consultation about invislign recently. I really want it done, but it is a lot of money so watching this thread with interest.

At my consultatation I was advised that they recommend a very small metal retainer is put in the back of your teeth and kept there permanently. They said they give you a normal retainer too, the kind you sleep in, but recommend this wire one. If anyone has one of those I'd love to hear about it. I am worried it would be intrusive somehow (kissing etc!). They told me it isn't noticeable but I'm keen to hear from anyone who has it.

Op I was quoted £3750 for the front row top and bottom set of teeth, and teeth whitening is included in that price. And £2750 if I went for just one set (top or bottom).

My dentist said you can pay in installments for 12 or 24 months at 0% interest, or 3,4 or 5 year installments at a low apr.

I went for an Invisalign consultation a couple of years ago but it was close to £4K I was quoted and I just couldn't justify it.
I'm currently in month 4 of smile direct club which I saw on the tv. 6 months plan and cost £1400 including a years worth of retainers for after the treatment.
I'd really recommend them (so far)
You can go to a free scan of your teeth in one of their shops and then everything else is done via email and I got the full 6 months of trays sent in one go.

I'm coming towards the end of my invisalign treatment and can only recommend it.

I had a baby tooth pulled out beforehand and quite a severe open bite and it has all closed up completely.

Started Jan 2019 and should be picking up my retainers in a couple of weeks.

I paid just over £3200 half upfront and half monthly for 6 months and teeth whitening is included.

Just finished my Invisaligns. £5000 for top and bottom teeth (in central London). I was not completely satisfied after the first treatment plan so they made 8 further weeks to further move the teeth. Now I’m happy. Teeth look great. Am getting used to the permanent retainers in back of teeth but think they’ll be fine.
