Period not come... what’s going on?

I’m 15 months pp and have been breastfeeding/expressing ever since DS was born. I’ve graduallu cut down and now i express one tiny amount in the morning to stop enforcement and my DS has stopped feeding altogether.
I’m still producing milk at the moment.
My periods came back at 4 months pp, despite exclusively breastfeeding and have been regular ever since.
Last month and this month I’ve had pains in the build up (10 days before it’s due) which is normal for me, but the pains were a bit worse than usual this time around. The pains have now basically disappeared and my period is due tomorrow, I keep feeling like it’s imminient, but nothing happens. I know I’ll not late yet.
Also I really can’t be pregnant as we haven’t dtd this month, we might have once actually, but we used a condom and from the start too, not halfway through or anything, also checked for tears or leaks after like we always do.

Anyway, I guess I’m wondering if this can be the result of the stopping breastfeeding and expressing myself or whether it’s a possible hormone imbalance that I need to get checked. Unless it is a pregnancy, which I’m very sure it isn’t, as I don’t feel like I did when I was pregnant before.

When I stopped BF my periods went all over the place for about 6 months, I had a missed period and went to the gp, I think it's as due tothe drop in certain hormones. I would take a Pregnancy test if you are late just for peace of mind, if it's late and you get a negative test go see your GP for a check up.

@Rono16 thanks. Apart from pregnancy, what else could it be?

It could just be that your period will arrive
tomorrow as usual? Or just good old hormones settling themselves back down.

Sorry for slow reply. I was told that hormones correcting could cause delays, I was told that my GP didn't worry until 3 weeks late.
However if you are at all worried then go to the gp if it's not turned up. Hope you are ok
