Slightly drunk....and have ordered takeaway

Soooo.... I am slightly tipsy, and have ordered takeaway (chicken wrap with salad if anyone wants to know) AIBU as my husband is fast asleep in a drunken stupor and none the wiser! On another note, if your husband is snoring the night away... What would you order!? 😂

All the overpriced starters from the Chinese. A tub of seaweed and two cans of diet coke. Don't want to be getting fatter

I’d have ordered a chicken and sweet corn pizza. Or Chinese chicken balls and neon sweet and sour with fried rice.

As a lone parent I do not have this concern! But a couple of weeks ago on the arse end of a 60 hour week (my contract is 37) I got home at 1am and ordered some chicken thing smothered in macaroni cheese based only on the picture on Ubereats and the fact that the place was open, and it was fucking lush.

Serve it to me at 6pm and I would turn up my nose in disgust, but it was the honestly the loveliest thing I have ever eaten :o

I'm not going to tell you just how radiant with joy my DC & I were when we realised we could order a McDonalds delivery.

Yes, yes, I know it's a terrible thing to do. But OH MY GOD. Lifechanger, right there.

Somehow a luke warm version delivered at home in a MASSIVE bag of what you can get (sometimes) hot in the drive thru is far more enjoyable!

Live in a rural village so they don’t deliver this far out. We went out with friends for a meal so not hungry anyway. New owners at the nearest Chinese said they would deliver out here once. I rang them when I had hurt my back and didn’t have much food left. They took two hours to bring it and when they did it was cold and the pickled ginger was missing. It must have doing the rounds with the delivery driver. I rang to complain it was cold and she told me they didn’t realise it was so far away (6miles) I haven’t bothered since. Buy one on the way home from work occasionally and it isn’t cold when I get back. I go to a different one. DH would have ordered Chinese beef curry and rice and chips. Hope you enjoyed it and hope neither of us have a banging headache tomorrow. Friend and I have had a bottle of wine and several gins.😋

I wish I'd seen this last night when I was also slightly drunk! I'd have got a dirty KFC. I have hungover regret now.

I wanted an Indian the other night but our local one is closed for repairs just now (and the other one got really terrible so I refuse to give them another chance to ruin my dinner) so I got a Tesco takeaway meal. It was...disappointing. Might order a Chinese tonight for me and DD.
