Going to Disneyland Paris in a few weeks with 4&7yo. Hotel and flights booked but would really appreciate some help wrt the right park tickets to purchase, it's confusing! We will have two days for the park and would likely opt for front of line passes. Obviously there will be a lot my just over 1m 4yo will not be able to do. We're happy to pay for good tickets but obviously dont want to throw away money if we wouldn't use the ticket fully. There is a Frozen and Starwars 'experience', not sure if these are extra/worth extra. Any tips would be great.

If you download the app you'll be able to see which rides have fast passes and the height restrictions.
You're 1m 4 yo will be able to go on almost everything - there's a couple of 1.2m & 1.4m restrictions.
We've always stayed in one of the Disney hotels so have the magic hours and fast passes included - definitely worth it to cram in as much as possible while you're there but you need to choose where to use them and be quick with getting them.
Ratatouille ride and big thunder mountain tend to go quickly.

Not done the Star Wars or Frozen experiences so can't comment on those - we usually book a character dining breakfast and the kids love that.

You can also get parent passes from guest services to swap over at the exit on rides your youngest can't go on, so you only queue once. They always let my older one then go on a second time with the other parent.

The one ride with no fast pass that you'd need to get at early is crushes rollercoaster in Disney studios. It's fab so worth the wait and think it's a 0.9m restriction. (It is a proper rollercoaster though - worth knowing if little one not ridden anything like that, took us by surprise a bit first time Grin)

Thanks so much, it seems like another language to me!! We are staying in the Explorers hotel which I don't think is Disney tho close to park. Is there a difference between fast pass and front of line?! There's an ultimate ticket but maybe not needed? Great they let the older child ride like that without a re queue. Do we need to book those extras? Character breakfast etc. Really appreciate the help!

We've only ever used the standard fast pass and it's been fine (and we've been there in Aug each time so busy) but if you wanted to spend the extra, the other options will save you even more time. Assume you've seen this page already to help you decide?

https://www.disneylandparis.com/en-gb/fastpass

A lot of the classic rides in fantasyland have long waits so helpful to be able to skip those.

You will need to pre book character dining and some of the restaurants if you want them such as the ratatouille restaurant. There are loads of options with no booking required though so just have a look on the website to avoid missing something you'd really want to do.

Straight after (or during if you've seen it) the teatime parade is a good time to shoot off to eat. We watch it near the exit one day then dart off to planet Hollywood as there tends to be no queue then and the kids love it.

We're going to Orlando this year and the planning for that is seriously overwhelming so I know how you feel Grin

We went last year with a 4 Yr old and a 7 year old, and going back again soon! Like pp we stayed in a Disney hotel so had Magic Hour and passes included, upcoming trip is booked with a Disney hotel too. My (quite small) 4 yr old could go on most rides, she was too small for Crush and Hyperspace Mountain but otherwise plenty to replace those with. We were there for 3 days so planned a day in the main oark and a day in the studios, with the third day to go between the favourite rides. I would advise booking character breakfast. Definitely download the app as it shows waiting times etc so was v useful to plan with. There is a Facebook page called Disneyland Paris for Brits, there is a huge amount of info there to check out too

Thanks all so much. Are the studios worth a day and are they a completely separate ticket? Love the idea of ratatouille restaurant!! Can't wait. The dc don't know yet!!

Probably not worth buying the fast pass tickets as they cover so few rides ( and Buzz light year is closed ) , I don’t think they actually do a ‘front of queue’ pass and the fast pass queues can themselves be quite long for things like Ratatouille if you are going in a busy period ( half term for example ) . Explorers is an associate hotel so are you sure you don’t get tickets for both parks included in your package , if not then you can buy a ticket for either park or a ticket that covers both and the Studios is worth doing especially with small children as it has the toy story section .

Ok thank you, that's good advice also. It will be Irish midterm 17/2, is that the same as UK? Explorers just v&b but maybe I will contact them to ask if they do any kind of deal?

Yes that is half term in England as well , or it is in the SE .

Is it? Ok.. Thanks
