None of the 'whose the most handsome' threads that pop up on here have mentioned V from BTS yet, so I thought I would!

My DD13 has been going on about BTS for months so I looked them up, saw this and my jaw dropped.

The others are just dancers in this clip but the rest of the band are beautiful too. They're apparently the most successful band since The Beatles...

Don't really see the appeal, but he definitely looks better than the rest of them in that group

Not at all my type and how can they be the most successful band since the Beatles when some of us have never heard of them? I think that is a big claim.

They sold out Wembley stadium over summer, it broke some sort of record. It's a weird phenomenon. They have a huge online presence. And their fans are expected to work - buying as may copies of the physical albums as possible (there are collectible photocards in them as an incentive), stream new songs 24 hours a day on as many devices as they can get hold of, and keep up a constant barrage on fantalk on twitter. And there seem to be a lot of awards to vote for repeatedly too. This is a big source of stress for my sister and BIL, but I feel like DN is winning.

Jared Leto is obviously the most attractive man on earth (minus the current Jesus hair and beard).

He gives me the creeps. He has cult leader eyes. And he remains close friends with Terry Richardson the rapist, which is lovely...

@Upherefordancing they are all philistines!! V is beautiful, try watching him in Hwarang on Netflix which is stuffed full of beautiful Korean men fighting with swords with long swishy hair. Come over to the kdrama threads for some BTS appreciation

Personally I prefer a man who gets better with age.

more than a Boyband

These articles sum it up much better than I ever could... It really is annoying how their fanbase is seen as just teenage girls (and if it really was... Who cares!) their concerts are the most diverse in gender /age/race that I have ever seen! (Wembley!)

Their songs are full of meaning and such good messages for all ages... (not just your usual heartbreak...)... They were invited to speak at the UN as part of the UN #endviolence campaign... (worldwide campaign ending violence to all children)

This is the funniest thing ever.... Little background to the song if you don't already know... Chicken Noodle Soup was a huge summer hit over in the States early 90's I think... Jhope (from bts) loved it from his childhood in South Korea... It's the song that made him want to dance... He remade it... collabed with Becky G... credited the original artists (they were thrilled to bits) and thus one of the funniest reactions I've ever seen on YouTube!...

I think he has had surgery you know... I'd never say it to DN of course, she'd disown me. In the old videos I saw he has huge satellite dish ears, and now he appears to have relatively normal ones. They didn't shrink by themselves. Also in the older music videos his eyes look narrower, his nose looks bigger and his jaw is a different shape. So not much difference!

Poorer than "My my my my, my my my my, you got me high so fast"? Yikes. I will hope DN's attention doesn't wander. Why is Korean pop music so weak and yet so popular?

Thanks Bea - I've now saved both those articles. I spent a good couple of hours reading about them last week and agree they are so much more than just a pretty boy band.

I also disagree with a PP comment that they are just intensely media trained . They are completely mad and goofy a lot of the time and I can't believe it's all just a persona for the cameras.

Most of them come across as twice as intelligent as the members One Direction too.

A few not bad examples, but Chris Hemsworth is definitely the hottest!!
