To not want to take a 9mo old on a spa wknd?

MiL suggested to DH that a spa wknd would be a lovely gift for FiL’s birthday, but she wants us & BiL + his fiancé to join, as well as my 9mo DS & all of our dogs (3 dogs, it’s a dog friendly hotel). I think when people go on spa wknds they want to relax & might be wanting a break from their DC so why should they have to be around mine? DH thinks we should bring DS & all will be fine, but I’m thinking maybe MiL hasn’t thought this gift suggestion all the way through as she wants us all to be together. Happy to gift a spa day for FiL & MiL but just don’t think it’s a very baby friendly wknd, AIBU?

I’d have to find out the name of the hotel she’s thinking. I was thinking it’d be separate spa facilities & pool we’d have to trade off watching DS. The in-laws are fab so I’m not worried about getting left out. It’d be 3 couples, so 3 rooms & each couple with their dog- small dogs, and we are “those people” that take our puppo everywhere with us 😬. When I think of a “spa” I just tend to think of adults only & relaxing/maybe some Prosecco, and nice restaurants, not children. Wouldn’t necessarily mind other people bringing their kids, but having mine there would be more stressful. Think I’ve persuaded DH to bring up some different options to MiL 🤞
