Is there any way to stop someone's addiction to psychics?

Not me. Someone dear to my heart I believe is so addicted, which he became after bad divorce, that he blames his ill health, job loss, money issues and worse relationship issues on his ex spouse doing witchcraft on him. As a result he's been spending what I believe to be thousands for rituals, psychics, consultations etc. I do believe to the extent (power of prayer etc) but I am sure these are random charlatans extracting his money. He is pretty open and vocal to what he is doing but he says 'I don't understand' or that I am not as spiritual as he is.

I thought this addiction will subside as he's slowly recovered after divorce, but not at all and I wonder if there is any way to help him. I was thinking of secretly hypnotising him (light-hearted), but really I am desperate to stop his throwing money after a wind.

These people know who to target and how to suck them in, unfortunately their rhetoric will encourage him to brush off accusations of it being a money making enterprise preying on vulnerable people. Very sad but you may just have to be there to pick up the pieces.

Sorry to say, as you clearly want to help, but this is a lesson he's going to have to work through on his own. He currently thinks he's in a much higher 'spiritual' place than you so he won't listen to you anyway. I would try and step back a bit from the situation.

It's become his coping strategy by the sound of it. I'd get him out & socialising more which will help him to move on quicker & point out Facebook, genealogical websites & the Interweb make finding out personal details mega easy (& Google psychic tactics for him too).

Tell him to go to the local spiritual church.
They will reassure him (with no charge!!)
If it will help, but him a simple piece of hematite 99p,to carry.the mirror image reflects back onto a person wishing another ill will.
Anyone trying to charge him is a charlatan.

Thank you...
I've googled psychic, of course his case is 'different'.
We go to Christian church, will look up hematite (he wears talismans as it is)
I am worried for him!
