This pram is too good to be true?

Is this really as good as it seems?
I'm sceptical... anyone had one?

I had a similar one which I bought second hand. It was brilliant. Very light and could fold up and be stored in the smallest of places you can lie the baby back to sleep.

Stickybeaksid · 13/01/2020 09:52

Have a baby glen one that does that so I can’t imagine this one would he any different

LilouBlue · 13/01/2020 09:57

The website does seem a bit dodgy, have you looked for the company name for reviews? Check if it is registered in the UK.

SanAntonio · 13/01/2020 09:57

I see them a lot on planes. They seem to fold/unfold easily.

stophuggingme · 13/01/2020 09:59

I’m not so sure it’s that amazing
It won’t be good in grass and will struggle in mud
The hood isn’t very deep - loads of strollers have useless hoods so the lie back function will only be good with a sleeping baby or little in in the sun.

If however you just want a one for nipping around urban areas and to get off buses and planes then it’s clearly great for that though!

I have three kids and cannot tell you the hours I’ve spent researching buggies.
Such a shame that the chances to physically inspect these kinds of purchases are getting more and more difficult! I’ve sent numerous buggies and strollers back as they were so disappointing when I actually saw them in real life.

stophuggingme · 13/01/2020 10:00

*in the shade not the sun!
You would need a sun shade

DesLynamsMoustache · 13/01/2020 10:01

Looks a bit style over substance. The wheels look terrible!

namechangetheworld · 13/01/2020 10:05

Every single review on Trustpilot says that their money has been taken but no order received. It's a scam website.

Oysterbabe · 13/01/2020 10:06

It's a cheap stroller to take on holiday with you. It seems a reasonable price for that.

Kanga83 · 13/01/2020 10:07

If it's a light one for holidays you are after there's a similar one by Joie I used to have. I'll find the link for you. It's ok for holidays and the odd day but not as an everyday pram

Kanga83 · 13/01/2020 10:09

Joie Aire Lite. I used one for a year as my main one but it would have been better just for holidays and the odd days as my boy grew

JamieVardysHavingAParty · 13/01/2020 10:22

Too good to be true. It's the website, not the pram though.

The business is less than 3 months old and sells only 11 items. Two of those are heavily discounted prams, and those are the scam.

The other nine baby items are just there to give the illusion that it's a normal online store front, and you're getting a bargain.

nevermorelenore · 13/01/2020 12:19

Scam advisor says no: www.scamadviser.com/check-website/magicaleverywhere.com

A Google image search brought this up, it's a non branded item: www.amazon.co.uk/Stroller-Lightweight-Portable-Travelling-Pushchair/dp/B07TYHNGRM?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

If you want a lightweight stroller that's cheap, try the cosatto supa. I got mine about £100 new but there are always tonnes for sale on Facebook that have hardly been used.

ODFOx · 13/01/2020 12:42

Company was registered to a P.O. Box in Cardiff last September. Address on website is a backstreet house in London. The unbranded stroller is 110 quid on amazon (advert days deliver by end of week but phrasing suggests Far East import.)
I think the one you've found is too good to be true OP.

BlueEyedGreeness · 13/01/2020 13:28

That's exactly what I'm looking for, something to take on holiday, I was looking at this one cos it folded up to take on as hand luggage.
Every time we've been away before the pram in the hold has been destroyed!

WTFdidwedo · 13/01/2020 13:36

The Mountain Buggy Nano is similar, and is about £170 new but probably cheaper second hand.

Damntheman · 13/01/2020 14:03

Get or hire a prampack from Stokke OP. I flew twice a year with my kids plus pram for years (to visit my parents) and the pram never once got damaged inside the pram pack :) It's well worth it.

Darkstar4855 · 13/01/2020 14:05

I have a Babyzen Yoyo which folds to those dimensions so it is possible but I don’t think you’d get anything decent for that price, sorry.

FrankRattlesnake · 13/01/2020 14:16

I also have a babyzen yo-yo and it’s fab. There is a rip off called the yoya or similar which is apparently ok (but I would be sceptiical if it met the safety requirements!).

fartingsparkles · 13/01/2020 14:16

I have a chicco minimoo which had the selling point that it folds small enough to go as overhead luggage (not why I got it) and it is great. Might be worth looking for

Crunchymum · 13/01/2020 14:20

I think it will be fine as a holiday pram!

BrickTop999 · 13/01/2020 14:32

uk.trustpilot.com/review/magicaleverywhere.com

Says it all really about the company - scam !

JamieVardysHavingAParty · 13/01/2020 14:39

I see it says "the delivery fees are free in Europe". Yeah, because they don't deliver!

I've found a French review saying that they tried to order a pram and the website takes the money, and then nothing else happens. They contacted the site about it, and got nothing.
