Unprofessional business pages on Facebook

Is it just me or have other people noticed a rise in businesses moaning about customers on Facebook? A local hairdresser today has put how annoyed she is that her 10am appointment didn't turn up, she has a living to make etc. Yes it must be frustrating as hell - but at the same time you have no idea what people are going through, if they're ill, have had bad news etc and I'm not sure what venting on Facebook achieves?

I also know a dog groomer who posts pictures of the dogs and says things like "Little Alfie came in today, unbelievably matted, took ages to comb through him - but perseverance and a platinum wash sorted him out". If that was my dog I'd be quite annoyed! Yes they should be brushed regularly but don't some dogs matt more easily than others?

AIBU to think it's quite unprofessional to do this?

I wouldn't have thought it was a great advertisement for them, really.

Our local dog groomer does something similar, but she always has a good back story - distraught owner, snippy dog, relief all round. Many groomers do, to show they can handle the worst behaved / condition dogs.

But yes, lots here too. Never sure how they think it benefits them!

It's the spelling mistakes that upset me on supposedly professional pages!

If you owned that dog the groomer probably wouldn’t want your custom again

It's the problem a lot of people have with written communication. They say it out loud or in their head with the proper light hearted tone and a bit of laughter and it all sounds nice and friendly. But when written down it sounds dire.

Or they are like a local used car place - someone complained about the car they had bought on their facebook page and their reply was "we sell used cars. of course we ripped you off."

There's a cleaning company in our town that does everything from drug den clearances to crime scenes. They regularly post videos and photos of hoarders houses and what I assume to be alcoholic's or drug addict's flats. Real disgusting, filthy, shocking places. The videos and pictures invite a lot of comments about the "Dirty fucking bastards" or "Fuckin junkie rats! Boak!" Type comments.

The problem is, some of those people who hoard or live in filth have severe MH issues and I think it's extremely unprofessional to post those people's private homes on SM for likes and comments. I'd hate to be the child, sibling or parent of a hoarder or an addict being ridiculed online.

One day I will definitely comment and tell them what I think of their unprofessionalism. I'm not a fan of that company anyway because the owner's son/business partner is a nasty, arrogant man.
