Not strictly aibu but this is where i posted first
Its soon to be a year since my toddler died from cancer swiftly followed by my partner of 20 years taking his own life leaving me with 2 teenagers 2 toddlers i posted about how i was struggling as i had hidden shame of not being able to read
Well my son has completed year 1 of his paediatric nursing course
My number 2 son is excelling at grammar schooll
Number 3 started school and is slowly with the help of school overcoming his selective mutism
My baby is at pre school
And the best thing someone from aibu contacted me and lives near and is meeting with me and helping me to learn to read its slow progress but she is patient
Ive told my workplace at last they couldn't of been more helpful
I think my son told his school as they have been more understanding and not looking down on me as much
Thank u for all msgs at the time hope to have some peace in the new year
Before anyone mentions my son is home from uni and is writing this for me 1 day soon though it wil be me x
