Bottle of sweetcorn relish. Supposed to be eaten within 4 weeks of opening, but I opened it in....August . Do you think it will be ok?

Generally I would never exceed the use by date of fresh stuff, but with preserved/tinned/packets of stuff I’m much more relaxed, and will happily eat stuff months out of date. But... this will have been open 4 months more than recommended!

Has been refrigerated. Eat it or not?

I'd eat it. Tomato sauce says to consume within 1 month and barbarian pickle within 6 weeks(!) its a relish so effectively a preserve. If it's not mouldy or smelling "fermented " it's fine

Skim the top off, have a good sniff and a little taste, then decide. I would probably eat it.
