Boxing Day - most stressful day of the year.

Every year Boxing Day is completely pants.

My house is a tip, there’s toys everywhere. Laundry to catch up on after missing yesterday. Dishes drying on the rack to put away. My wheely bin and recycling bags are over filling.

I’m googling storage solutions for toys my family have bought the children.

Whilst wondering if we could build an extension t a play room? 🤣🤣

Kids want to go out and spend their Christmas money just to bring more stuff into the house.

Half eaten chocolate all over the kitchen sides!!

Anyone else??

I love the build up to Christmas, I love the day itself almost as much. On
Boxing Day I can do the mess quite quickly, but it’s my mum and mil beginning to snipe at each other in that almost subliminal English way that I can’t stand. I had cabin fever and it was pissing it down. Everyone has had enough of being helpful , but There was still a fuckton off work to do.
I agree op, Boxing Day is stressful.

Glad it isn’t just me then My mum and mil don’t see each other and Seem to have to manage very differently, last year was similar to oheysiam Christmas Day we were on our own as a family.. Although my mum checked into the hotel down the road we had to go to at DH’s on the 27th 🎄🙃
