Who's up at this time

OP posts:
MimiCaeger · 26/12/2019 05:37

I’m up, have been since quarter to four.
Morning all hours of the fucking day sickness.

Camping out on the settee with ddog nibbling on a rich tea, in my new dressing gown and pyjamas

Hope everyone is ok

Notsosimple · 26/12/2019 05:39

Me, at work doing a night shift Grin

SquashedFlyBiscuit · 26/12/2019 05:43

I am. Been awake since 3am. Had a lovely Christmas day but exhausted (wish I could sleep) and now consumed with sadness over my shitty childhood. Remembering xmases and birthdays and feeling a bit fed up that lifes where it is now. Wish I could snap out of it.

Not by choice, the bastard dogs next door have woken me up for the second night in a row

LakieLady · 26/12/2019 06:00

Over-indulgence led to me falling asleep on the sofa at about 7pm. Woke at 11, went to bed and slept for another 6 hours.

I now feel perfectly rested and refreshed, with only a slight headache rather than the banging one I thoroughly deserve, and am creeping about the house like a burglar to avoid waking DP.

Rollerbird · 26/12/2019 06:02

I'm waiting for my dd to pick me up to go with her to the bloody Next sale.
I'm not buying, just holding things for her.
Then Maccys breakfast after.

SexlessBoulderBelly · 26/12/2019 06:08

Me!

Coming up to 37 weeks pregnant. The worst insomnia I’ve ever had, never been a great sleeper but I’m awake all night every night for weeks yet I’m still exhausted.. why can’t I just sleep?!

Baby is being delivered on New Years Eve so I’m excited and nervous.. hoping once we’ve settled for a couple of weeks I can pump a bottle and send DP out on a walk or a drive with baby so I can get a nap in. Just one nap and I’ll be good for another quarter.

WhoisitnowRalph · 26/12/2019 06:22

I've been awake for a while...lots on my mind. I have to move DM into full time residential care next week and I'm anxious about everything. But she had a good day with us yesterday, her last Christmas in her own flat. She has moderate/advanced Alzheimer's and her mobility has just careered downhill over the last few months.

BillywilliamV · 26/12/2019 06:26

I woke at 6.04, one minute before the alarm normally goes off. Found passive-aggressive text from sil, DH didn’t ring them yesterday. Annoyed now and can’t get back to sleep. Will get up and feed cats!

Bouledeneige · 26/12/2019 06:35

I'm awake. I needed the loo. I'm taking my kids to the airport today to go and stay with their Dad for a four days. After cooking for 15 yesterday I will be alone today - still with plenty of washing up and clearing up to do. I shall feel very sorry for myself when i drop them off but it will be okay.

Thoughtlessinengland · 26/12/2019 06:37

Been up as per usual all night with insomnia. 36 weeks pregnant and done with it!

Fairymad · 26/12/2019 06:40

Awake cos I have a 13hr shift today

nicslackey · 26/12/2019 06:41

Up and pottering. I love being awake at this time when I am off work knowing I could go back to bed if I wanted. House is warm and cosy, all cleared up from yesterday. This is my day now. No shopping or cooking!
No trying to keep the house tidy . Fridge full of leftovers and nibbles and
I will be in my pyjamas for the duration. The day stretches ahead full of After Eights, old films and a jigsaw.

halfthesun · 26/12/2019 06:48

DS has to work at seven .... so making him breakfast ...

Silvafox · 26/12/2019 07:00

Postie here - been up since 4am as I always wake early evening on days off! Only 2 days off for Christmas - yesterday and today.

Silvafox · 26/12/2019 07:01
