I’ve decided New Years resolution has to be an entire new friendship group.
Where would you start ?

@ Isleepinahedgefund
Have just moved around a lot over the past 15 years so my NCT friends I’ve lost you h with. School mums too, they are still around but because we moved away life moved on. We are back in the same area/house now with no plans to move again ever but joining the school with my last baby in year 5 feels a bit late. But I do need and want company and I think I’m good value so lots to offer as a friend I hope

Local Facebook groups are a good way to meet people

Join a choir, there are loads in and around Liverpool, they're sociable, singing is good for your mental health and believe it or not if you pick a choir that suits you, being a good singer isn't really necessary!

@Inliverpool1
Gym and David Lloyd are two different things 😔
Joined two weeks ago and I haven’t seen so much snobbery in my life. People avoiding eye contact, not saying even a hello... BUT the best spa nearby! Grin

But on a serious note, finding friends is not easy... I agree with some PPs here, a dog is more reliable ☺️
I hope you find your happiness

Somebody new to our town put up a notice in our local supermarket about starting up a book club a couple of years ago. I was the first person to respond and we’ve become really good friends. Also made a couple of other lovely friends as the group grew over time.
