I am doing lamb we are not turkey lovers, it will cook tomorow though so its fresh, but i dont blame you for cooking it today. Have prepped all my veggies though.

So what if op cooked it today. Bloody hell. Isnt the most important thing is that the effort made to ensure a good christmas meal was made for her family? Some people just have to have a dig. And nice excuse about the food covering- as if you dont eat leftovers any other day besides xmas.

Turkey is being cooked tonight, beef going in slow cooker overnight, pork will be cooked in a.m plus all veg & trimmings.

Wow. Everyone's turkey/ham look amazing.
Mines all prepped with an orange onion and appl3.shoved up its bum, a ton of butter under the skin and 2 packs of.amoked streaky bacon over it. But remains on the side hopefully finishing.off the defrost.
First time ever I bought a fresh bird and froze it.. I normally just collect a fresh one on Xmas eve but plans were a bit iffey this Xmas so I bought early.

It was only the very inside that was still frozen so hoping by the morning if will be fully defrosted. It's been out the freezer since Sunday evening the!

Any other seasoning?

Speaking as someone whose mum will be receiving decade from caregivers where she lives before we come round in Christmas Day - thank you so much for doing what you do. If I could pay you what you were worth, I’d be a rich woman.

I always do mine xmas eve, its in the oven now.. i visit my grandparents in the morning + then cook for 11 for LUNCH when i get back, i wouldnt have time to cook a big enough turkey for 11 people on xmas day
