Are you the op @Ceci03 ? I’m seeing someone else’s post as the green one.

Ceci03 · 20/12/2019 16:30

think there's something going weird with the threads this afternoon...

TheMustressMhor · 20/12/2019 16:30

You've definitely changed names, OP.

You were @TWD89 to start with and then you became @Ceci03

Ceci03 · 20/12/2019 16:31

PS I did query it with her - I said I thought I had only been sick for one day but she said 'oh but you went home early the previous day'. So it's not a mistake.

Ceci03 · 20/12/2019 16:32

I think there's something weird. I don't know who @TWD89 is????? I cant see that on my screen?

TheReluctantCountess · 20/12/2019 16:33

This is what I see.

This is what’s showing as the OP post @ceci03

to be pissed a manager for counting whole day as sick
JumpyLiz · 20/12/2019 16:33

The TWD89 post does look like it's replying to something else

Gremlins at work I think.

GottaLoveAnOtter · 20/12/2019 16:37

@Aaarrgghhh I'm so confused too 😂

TWD89 · 20/12/2019 16:48

Why am I showing as the OP?!

I’m not the OP Confused

I would say that was very unfair. As a manager in the NHS someone working more than half there hours would be recorded as going home sick on rosta pro but I would count it as one day not two. It may be irrelevant unless you undergo sickness monitoring

MichaelMumsnet · 20/12/2019 16:56

Hi all, and thanks for the reports about this one.
We're not sure what's going on but we've flagged to tech for investigation.

ZeroFuchsGiven · 20/12/2019 16:57

This has happened before, I would start a thread in site stuff to make MNHQ aware.

CherriesAndWine · 20/12/2019 16:59

I used to work for company that done this. If you went home sick before then end of your shift the whole day was counted. They also didn't pay you for your first day of sickness so didn't pay you for the hours you were in. If you don't feel well and don't think you can finish your shift phone in.

BaubleTheLumpOfCoal · 20/12/2019 17:02

I can't even see an opening post on this thread, so strange.

to be pissed a manager for counting whole day as sick
Obligatorync · 20/12/2019 17:02

We would get the 3.30 end completely written off!

rwalker · 20/12/2019 17:08

It would count as 2 says for us policy got changed part days never counted but then as usual people take the piss so spoilt it for everyone.

Depends what company policy is nothing to do with being decent manager or not because you have to treat everyone the same regardless of the individual or circumstances .

Dinosauraddict · 21/12/2019 05:56

As a manager I would record that officially as 1 day sick. However I would also keep a note that you had been allowed to leave early for sickness reasons. It sounds like your manager has concerns about your attendance and/or performance (you've been late at least once even ignoring the Drs appointment for child which is different) and it sounds as if you haven't been there very long at all. How long's your probation? You need to urgently check trigger points re attendance. In my team we have 6 months probation and you get a reduced trigger warning point on probation.
