Class of 99 wear sunscreen

Enjoy the power of your youth, trust me in 20 years you will look back at photos of yourself in a way you can not grasp now and see the beauty and opportunity you had.

How can this be 20 years ago? I know it's twee but when I listened to this 40 was an eternity away, now it's two years.

Voting Ianbu this is a seminal song
Iabu stop being such a sap.

^Be nice to your siblings; they are your best link to your past and the
People most likely to stick with you in the future^

20 years later, 1 parent down, we live in 4 different countries, but it couldn’t be truer about siblings. Mine anyway.

I had the CD in my car we played it to death that summer. It was such a soothing piece. I listened to it again the other week and it is so true. I would love to go back twenty years and tell myself you are awesome.

I was 17 when it was released and I love it as much now as I did then. I know it’s a bit twee but that doesn’t make it not a good way to look at life Xmas Wink

After I was diagnosed with a life changing illness I listened to this and it really hit home how bloody true the sentiments are. It made me sob like a baby, and today makes me very emotional.

'Dance, even if you have nowhere to do it but your own living room'

Dance when you can, enjoy every second, and never worry about what others think. I didn't do it enough when I could. No matter what age you are, the time comes all too quickly when you can't.

I think it's brilliant.
I hadn't realised it was written by a woman.

I was doing my law finals at University when this song came out and was beyond stressed. I remember driving to the library listening to it on the radio crying my eyes out as I knew the sentiment was so true but was locked in a horrible bubble of stress and revision which meant I just couldn’t feel that carefree. But I’m 😱 at it being 20 years ago.
