To wonder about lucid dreaming?

I had a dream last night. My teeth were wobbling and falling out one by one. Eventually I woke up (or so I thought) and it happened again, all but my 8 front teeth fell out. This happened around 6 times. I was willing myself to wake up as i was sure i was in a dream still. I was! I did wake up in the morning (for real) with most of my teeth. (I had one removed a couple of weeks ago and I have been worrying a lot about this as I had a review this morning)

Has anyone else had any experiences of lucid dreaming?

Thank you for your replies. I don't have a dream book but i will look up the dream meaning.

I had a dream last night that I was telling a colleague about the weird dreams from the night before. Last night I didn't realise I was dreaming though haha

Are you quite spiritual. I had a really weird dream years ago and it came true. I dreamt I went in this house near where I lived. I went into the living room. There was a man sweaty with black hair and a white t shirt on. I gave him the biggest hug and it was like we had been reunited. I felt like I was really there it was so vivid. I woke up and for about a week I felt like I knew this made up guy!

Then 2 years later I start working with this girl. This is real life. Her mum has the same name as me. She was telling me how her mum had a toyboy and she showed me her house. It was the house from my dream. A year later her mum's toyboy collapsed and died aged 27! Gave me the chills. Im not gifted or anything. This was just a huge coicenidence. When I walk past the house I always think of my dream and it freaks me out!

I lucid dream almost all of the time. I did a University sleep study about it. I think I am just naturally sceptical and because I know I lucid dream, my subconscious is prepared for it

Dreaming that your teeth are falling out is extremely common. I think it's associated with anxiety about change, moving on etc.

I often have dreams about teeth falling out.

When ds was small it was often about trains being late and being late to collect him from school.

Now it's often about not making it to a running race or parkrun on time.

It's funny how anxiety dreams change.

Not sure about the lucid thing, sometimes I am aware that it's a dream.

I thought there was some connection between Parkinsons and lucid dreams? As my father had it and my uncle (mum's brother) has it, I am obviously worried that I may be higher risk despite being female which reduces the risk again.

I used to lucid dream all the time pre-children. I've never thought I've 'woken up' in a dream and actually still been dreaming though, I just knew I was asleep and been able to control the dream. Mostly they were flying dreams and I loved them. They happened in the morning before the alarm went off.
