Phone in my face colleague....

Colleague of mine, nice as she is, has a habit of shoving her phone right in my face when I'm mid-sentence if she's not interested in what I'm saying. It'll be yet another picture of her daughter/text about someone I don't know and I'm supposed to completely change tack and start talking about that instead....would IBU to tell her that next time she interrupts me with phone in face thing I will shove it up her arse?

I think I'd turn on my heel and walk away at that point.

AutumnRose1 · 17/12/2019 16:37

Are you talking about work when she does this?

IwantedtobeEmmaPeel · 17/12/2019 16:43

I like the suggestion of taking the phone and putting it in your pocket or bag without stopping talking. Keep doing until the message permeates her thick skull.

God, one of my colleagues does this but with endless photos of her dog. I am one of those people who gets very attached to my own animals or those that I have a regular ongoing relationships (I.e. my mums dog or my best friends dog) with, but can’t be arsed to look at and hear stories about random colleagues dogs. It’s so annoying.

I'm sorry - but both @TheReluctantCountess and @HelloYouTwo did make me laugh

Are you obsessively talking about Brexit or welcoming Jesus into your heart or MLM'ing when she shuts you down?

"Bloody hell, that's an ugly child"
