My DD had a tonic seizure. She was seen by neurologist, had an EEG and blood panel. She was kept in for observation for 48 hours and because all was fine she was discharged. She was seen by an ophthalmologist that week (she had double vision prior to the seizure) and saw a neurologist specializing in seizures one month later. She re did the EEG and a head MRI. She concluded that the seizure was a response to a viral infection (chickenpox) a few weeks earlier.

The filming idea is a giid one. Not sure I’d have had the wit to do it even after dealing with several early child hood seizures and the biggie later on. But the point is a good one: neurologist grilled us forensically on what DS felt and what I saw.
