It’s ok at home (although I am really fed up of listening to his songs- he’s very particular about what will keep him quiet) but when I’m out and about I don’t want to have to be constantly playing him music. My sons the same he loves it. He’s 18 months but mean like this since he was born. It has been slightly embarrassing having to play Eminem on the bus to get him to settle. (Which me and his dad don’t like)

What is the issue

I can't see why it's a problem. Just play something different now and then to try and extend the range of music he enjoys.

My dd loves music! I can play any kind though and she bops along. Lots of classical in the bath, I play musical songs from Oliver during dinner it’s fun fun for all. Grin what’s the issue?

You're pretty lucky to have something which you know will calm him down, tbh. Babies and toddlers love routine; just wait till you have to read the same book over and over again.
This too shall pass.
Btw, the one I had who was into music like this, has just completed his Music degree and is a professional musician with an album coming out in the Spring.

He obviously finds it comforting- go with it, it's nice that he likes music.

Mine used to love Red Hot Chilli Peppers. It’s great to have something that’s guaranteed to soothe them.
