Husband invited his mates 3 adults, 2 kids, 2 dogs for 2 nights stay this weekend and fucked off this morning for 3 hrs to leave me to entertain, clear up from last night (that i cooked) and make breakfast for them. I’ve just been asked to play a league match for a team mate who’s ill tomorrow morning - is it rude to fuck off for 3-4 hours and leave them?

Go for it. It’s your weekend as well. You did dinner last night and did a lot today. So it’s his turn for a while now

I'm assuming he didn't discuss with you before hand about leaving you to do everything so yes he was fucking rude to leave HIS guests.

He went today for a few hours so you go tomorrow so a few hours. Perfect. Make sure you go nice and early so he has the breakfast and clean up to do

He went to the gym when he had guests? That's SO rude.

Just as these so-called lovely guests are rude for leaving you to do the clearing up when you made dinner (and breakfast). Have they lost use of their arms and legs?

Ok, we like the guests then. Your DH not so much. Is he a professional athlete that can't miss a training session? I'm guessing not or you would have mentioned it?

Please tell me there's more to this like he's a professional athlete or something if he's just a regular guy who likes to go to the gym then he has a problem! Go and play your match of course.

Sorry OP, that's no excuse. He could easily have moved his training around a little. Or got up early when everyone was still in bed to go for a long run and been back to make them breakfast. He sounds selfish.
