AIBU to think Erudio Student Loans are deliberately talking in gibberish about "maturity dates" in order to bamboozle me into paying off my loan early?

Oh god, Erudio student bloody loans. I've been stashing away their letters for years in a cold sweat😬. They send 4 at a time. In separate envelopes. As far as I was aware i sorted out a payment plan 6 months or so ago- then a few days ago, I get another influx of crap from them ssyinjg I'm in arrears once again??
I'm going for the ignore and hope it goes away tactic... 🤞

As far as I can see, they're offering to settle your loan for just under £1,000 now, rather than pay over £4,000 in regular instalments over the next five years. Not really a bamboozle!

Whether you should do it depends on whether you can afford the lump sum now and whether you would be able to defer again. Can't advise on that point, but I don't think they're trying to hoodwink you.

I got one too and refused it.
I don't earn any where near the level that's required before you have to start paying it back and never will.
They're panicking because they've realised that they'll never get the money back and by sending this "get it now deal" it makes it look like your getting a fantastic offer. When really they're trying to get £1000 from someone who will never have to pay back the amount loaned to them.
