DH is in town at the pub with four work mates. All men. I kind of want to go out because I've been confining myself to the house recently and the alternative is an evening alone but I don't know the work mates very well and they're all men. Would you go?

OP what are the circumstances leading to you spending so much time alone at home? Do you go work? Have children? Does your OH go out a lot without you? Do you have hobbies? Friends? Activities? Do you and your OH go out together? Just trying to get an idea of how things are.

You really did gatecrash, next time dont go. They were work colleagues, not even close friends. Embarrassing for you.

Were they derogatory comments though? Were they any worse than the jibes they threw at each other?
