Not who do you want? Who do you think will win? Or do you predict a hung parliament?

Probably the tories SadSadSad

SunshineAngel · 12/12/2019 21:04

I think Conservatives will win, and while we have the voting system we do, I'm fairly powerless to prevent that. I can vote labour, but I think our constituency will always be labour. We need proportional representation.

Jenpop234 · 12/12/2019 21:04

My prediction is a 75% chance of a Tory majority. 20% chance of a hung parliament and 5 % chance of a labour majority. But you never know! Will be looking out for the exit polls after 10pm

slipperywhensparticus · 12/12/2019 21:05

Hung

SnowyChristmasTree · 12/12/2019 21:05

Sadly the Tories.

Most of the mainstream newspapers are Tory.

People still haven't got over blaming Labour for the recession.

Jeremy Corbyn isn't popular with the majority and sadly elections are a personality contest.

Daisychainsandglitter · 12/12/2019 21:06

Tories Sad

Sickofrain · 12/12/2019 21:07

I think it will be a hung parliament. The country can then unite because we will ALL be p'd off...

CoffeeRunner · 12/12/2019 21:09

Conservative for sure.

Which is also my worst case scenario.

I agree with this. Sadly. But maybe a hung parliament, though I think Tory majority is more likely

Fairylea · 12/12/2019 21:09

Conservatives will win. Sadly.

Hingeandbracket · 12/12/2019 21:10

We need proportional representation.

We really do. If we had had it we'd probably never have had the (2106) referendum.

SheOfManyNames · 12/12/2019 21:10

Tories.
I didn't vote for them, but I think they will take a majority. I do think there will be some surprises in some seats though.

LooksLikeImStuckHere · 12/12/2019 21:10

I hope I’m wrong but I think Conservative.

Hingeandbracket · 12/12/2019 21:12

More people will vote for other parties than the Tories, but because so many votes are wasted in our system, we'll get the Tories in charge.

Pixxie7 · 12/12/2019 21:12

Hoping for labour or a hung.

Scarlettpixie · 12/12/2019 21:13

I think the Conservatives will win more seats than thry currently have. I feel sick at the thought. I voted labour.

Hoping for a labour majority, hung parliament or at least that a few high profilers loose their seats.

Answerthequestion · 12/12/2019 21:14

Hopefully conservatives and then JC can resign and hopefully we can get a credible leader

JenniferM1989 · 12/12/2019 21:15

The conservatives probably but I have my doubts about them getting a majority to be honest. The only party that they can form a coalition with really is the DUP and how many seats will they get? 10 maybe?

So the conservatives need 326 seats to win outright. If they fail that, they need at least 316 or so seats to form a coalition with the DUP. They might try and get the lib dems or the SNP to form with them if they get less than 316 seats but we all know that the lib dems and SNP would rather form a government with labour so basically in that scenario, Jeremy Corbyn would become PM with a coalition involving the SNP and Lib dems or just the SNP if labour get 280 seats or something.

We never know what the parties will decide though. Any party could agree to form a coalition with the Tories although it seems unlikely that the SNP or lib dems would

Luaa · 12/12/2019 21:16

I think the conservatives will win. And then I think I'll be so upset about that that I'll get too drunk at my Christmas party and make a fool of myself (again).

BMW6 · 12/12/2019 21:18

I dread current Labour winning, but also really want a decisive result as hung Parliament would be worst for all as damaging to the economy.

Sandsnake · 12/12/2019 21:19

My guess is the Tories, with a majority of around 30. I hope I’m wrong. I’m not sure what I do want to happen though!

noblegiraffe · 12/12/2019 21:19

Think it will be a moderate Tory majority. Want a hung parliament where both leaders are gone: Boris because he has lost his seat and Corbyn because the other parties will support Labour but not him.

TheWaiting · 12/12/2019 21:20

Tory majority but I’m hoping I’m wrong. I’m hoping a hung parliament will rid us of the incompetent buffoon currently in No10. I’d love him and/or that odious prick, Raab to lose their seat. I read a quote from Raab yesterday where he said something about food banks only being needed because people have temporary cash flow problems! Idiot!

WrongKindOfFace · 12/12/2019 21:22

I fully expect it to be a Tory majority. How big of a majority I don’t know though. I’m not sure I can bear to stay up and watch any of it.

BaolFan · 12/12/2019 21:22

Either a small Tory majority or a hung parliament.

Had the election happened 3 weeks earlier the Tories would have a larger majority. But I think the last few days will have been quite damaging for Boris. Refusing to be interviewed comes across pretty badly to the swing voters - who will, quite rightly, wonder how on earth he'll negotiate a decent Brexit deal if he can't face Andrew Neil or Piers Morgan...
