To think there are more options than just Labour and Conservatives?

On social media, the papers and on here it comes across that they are the only two options. What about Lib Dems, the green party, plaid (if in wales), SNP (if in Scotland) etc. I'm so fed up of this election. I don't want either of the main parties to get in as I don't believe in either.

I voted remain but this whole thing is just dragging on and part of me just wants them to get it over with as dragging it out is bad for the economy. I can't bring myself to vote Labour and I don't think I can bring myself to vote Conservatives either as I work for the NHS. Is it a cop out to vote someone other than the main two though? We all know nobody else stands a chance!

Not sure why you think there's no hope?

I'd rather vote Lib Dems as they are the party I agree with the most but they don't stand a chance in my area.

Well I for one would prefer you to vote Lib Dem rather than Tory, at least then we may stand a chance of keeping our NHS

Okay maybe I should rephrase. It's not just that I don't like JC, I don't trust him or the current Labour with our country. The best way for me to stop JC in my area is to vote Conservatives.

All other things aside another referendum regarding Brexit is exactly what we need because so many people didn't realise what they were voting for. And that was unfair .........not that it should ever have been put to the vote in the first place. Hmm

Random18 · 12/12/2019 07:33

You are obviously going to vote Tory so what's the point of this post?

voteJC · 12/12/2019 09:04

no you have to vote labour, its awful johnson or fab Jeremy xx

Alittleprivacyplease · 12/12/2019 09:14

YANBU. It seems to have bypassed a lot of English voters on here that there is literally no point in some of us voting for either Labour or tories as neither have any chance whatsoever in many constituencies. I personally wish no one would vote for either party and am permanently baffled that we've come to accept we only have 2 choices. We only have 2 choices because people keep voting for these idiots. Don't vote either of the big 2 and get all those fuckers out.

AlexaShutUp · 12/12/2019 09:35

Yeah, go on, vote Tory. Just don't complain later if we crash out of the EU with no deal at the end of next year and the NHS gets sold off to Trump and his cronies.

I assume that you have a big financial cushion that will help you weather the storm, but it's a shame that you have no compassion for those who don't.

Don't make (wrong) assumptions about people you don't know.

@Alittleprivacyplease who are you voting for?
