Being bit to death at work

Each day I come into work a new bite is appearing on my arm. It starts off an itchy red lump. I am really fed up. My arm looks horrible now. I am thinking flea bites but can flea bites jump from human to human? I’m the only one suffering like this out of a team of 5 but I have no pets at home that can carry fleas and the spots always appear at work Confused I am particularly susceptible to mosquito bites when I’m away (they eat me alive) which is why I’m thinking that I’m the only one getting bitten. I thought fleas as I couldn’t think of any other bite it could be!

Yes, if they are cat or dog fleas they won't settle on a human - they'll take a bite, realise you're not a cat or dog, and move on. There could be something harboured in your chair or carpet. I would speak to whoever is in charge of your facilities management.

Also had a headache and nausea for about four days since I started getting them and I’m never headachy or sick.

I had this, reported to estates and the carpet was fumigated over the weekend. Problem solved

Thanks for your replies. I feel embarrassed that I’m the only one suffering. Like it’s me. Like I’m the fleabag.

See attached link. It's not bug bites its static!

It could also be bed bugs. They tend to favor one victim, just like mosquitoes

Some people are just delicious. I once looked after a carpet for a (cat owning) neighbour who had to leave in a hurry. I didn't get bitten once but DP was constantly bitten until we worked out what was going on. When she came to get the carpet, they wanted her even more.
