TRESemmé bottles

Is it just me, or are TRESemmé bottles torture to squeeze anything out of!? Seriously, they are hell to get anything out of. Heavy, slippery, no grip and need to have the strength of the hulk to squeeze them! Then they go out of shape and you can't get them back into shape which makes squeezing them all the more difficult at the next hair wash.

Is it just me!? Please tell me it's not just me.

You're all weaklings! My 8 year old daughter uses them with no bother.

You don't need to squeeze, just turn them upside down and it pours out. Wink

@TwatCat - I use this - its made by Living Naturally who had 2 autistic children and they moved away from all chemical products and made their own - my issue is that while I'm washing my hair it doesn't feel silky smooth in the shower but afterwards its completely clean, I wash my hair now only twice a week (was every 2 days) - I think shampoo bars do take some getting used to ... but my eczema likes it ! shoppompom.com/products/calendula-chamomile-soapnut-soap-90g?_pos=2&_sid=18fb2406e&_ss=r

JoGose · 03/12/2019 17:31

I stopped using them years ago because of this

dementedma · 03/12/2019 17:33

Ditch the plastic bottles and get a solid shampoo bar. No squeezing needed.

RudolphTheRedNosedTwatCat · 03/12/2019 18:01

@AnneTyler12345 I wash my hair every day. Not at the moment as I'm off work on the sick after having a hysterectomy, but when I'm fit and healthy I wash daily as I work in a nursing home and gym on my days off. So I need to wash my hair when I get sweaty in the gym and I need to wash my hair when I come home from work. I have waist length hair and it's thick. That one you use says is ok for fine hair. Do you have thick or fine hair?

It's TwatCat by the way, I've done a Christmas name change.

Cantianella · 26/02/2021 11:34

I get you a head that fit on to dispense it by pressing down if you want.

JamesMiddletonsMarshmallows · 26/02/2021 11:35

@TwatCat

I'm mean it says "used by professionals" on the label.

Professional what?

BODYBUILDERS!?
GIANTS?!

😂😂😂😂
Liverbird77 · 26/02/2021 15:52

I've never had dandruff the like of which I experienced after a few washes with treSemme. I don't know what's in it but it is horrid stuff.

SeldomFollowedIt · 26/02/2021 16:26

Agreed but I still buy the deep cleanse shampoo because it’s very good for the price. It is very annoying though.

MaskingForIt · 26/02/2021 17:58

When it comes to shampoo/conditioner, if it doesn’t come in a bottle that can be stood on its lid, I’m not buying it.

MaskingForIt · 26/02/2021 18:00

@Ffsffsffsffsffs

But how do you get the bastarding lid off it?! Pump dispensers waste loads anyway.
IliveonCoffee · 26/02/2021 18:45

I've bought them before...when I was younger and my hair drank conditioner (it still does but I realise its quality over quantity now and buy Cantu)

Figured it would be great....but I'm not sure I ever got through a whole bottle of shampoo....

The bottle were awful to handle when wet, and seemed to get slipperier and slipperier. Especially when you never quite got enough conditioner.

And the clip top would get gummed with dried up shampoo.

It wasn't even a particularly good conditioner...I think one of my friends, who did hairdressing said....oh they did use it.... with colour stripping, as it was quite harsh.

I now have Cantu and use less conditioner than ever, plus it smells awesome. It's still terribly dry at the ends but I think its more it needs a cut, and no amount of oils, masks and conditioners are going to rescue it now.

Cherrysoup · 26/02/2021 19:24

I just noticed that my new (incredibly slippy) bottle is 800, not 900ml! Cheeky! No price change!

HugeAckmansWife · 26/02/2021 20:12

When they go out of shape you have to puff the air back in so you open it, squeeze a bit and it pops back in to shape. Then close it, give it a good shake downwards then open and use.

sorryforswearing · 26/02/2021 20:48

It’s not just you. They’re awful. So are the big squeeze bottles of ketchup, mayo etc.

Pukkatea · 26/02/2021 20:51

I've tried so many expensive and professional shampoos and still nothing makes my hair look better than Tresemme. The air trick posted above is the key. Sometimes I do a few bicep curls in the shower, keep fit n all.

Cantianella · 27/02/2021 07:33

Hi all. You need to buy the 900ml screw top but these fit the bottles. They last ages. www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/265977638269856/

Cantianella · 27/02/2021 07:35

@Ffsffsffsffsffs if you’re feeling flush... www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/265977638269856/

Cantianella · 27/02/2021 07:39

There are screw top ones. They are in Superdrug at the moment. These ones only dispense 7ml. So no waste. www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/265977638269856/

Cantianella · 27/02/2021 07:40

hulahooper2 · 27/02/2021 08:18

I have used it for years and have never had any problem with the bottles

AndOffFlewMyLastFuck · 27/02/2021 08:22

This post is from 2019

Cantianella · 27/02/2021 10:05

Yes me too. My husband always gets those massive ones on offer. Also washing up liquid. Drives me crazy.

Cazbym · 23/10/2021 10:27

Does anybody have a method to get lid off?
