To wonder where all the posters are? (election related)

By now, I would have expected to see the usual banners in fields, on fences, posters in peoples' windows etc etc.

But round here there is literally nothing - are people apathetic, or afraid to express their allegiance?

What's it like round your way?

BTW this is nothing to do with which party you want to vote for, and I'm not looking for a political bunfight, I'm just really surprised by the lack of election material. Should add we've had the usual maildrops from all the usual suspects, and yesterday I had my first ever visit from a canvasser in 21 years of living here.

Deselected not deflected!

Dominic Raab constituency has some poster action going on apparently. That is one result which may be very interesting.

I had a visit from the representative from one of the major parties on the weekend. A very passionate speech about the local community, values etc. and asked me if I have any questions, I asked a question and mentioned that I cannot vote in the UK but the issue is very important for me and I've been living in the area for around a decade.
She did not say a word, just turned around and marched away with an annoyed face. So much for the community yada yada yada.

Lots of Labour posters around me, but that's because they've been out and about talking to people. The Conservatives candidate has posted (yep, via RM) an A5 leaflet and that's it. He's promising the same things as he has for the past two terms, none of which have happened. Yet he's likely to win (and continue ignoring locals for another five years).

I’m in a safely Tory seat, but there are Lib Dem stakeboards everywhere, including three massive ones along the main road through the town.

Far fewer posters and placards here but way, way more literature through the door - two or three communications from different parties every day. Will no one think of the trees!

I agree it's a toxic election and people are scared of repercussions. I live in an area where people with remainy-type posters or signs have had bricks through windows and 'traitor' type graffiti on walls in the past so understandably people are reticent.

Sadly not my NDN tho, who has a giant fuckoff Tory placard outside his house where I have to see it the moment I leave my door, so any creative ideas about what might accidentally happen to that would be gratefully received.

Tim Farron's constituency is a sea of orange as usual. Interestingly he only won by a majority of 777 in the last election (previously he had a majority if about 12k I think) so there definitely seems to be a big effort from the local Lib Dems.

It's between him and the Tory candidate whose posters have been attracting some attention BBC: Tory Poster could frighten horses

Quite a few ‘vote labour’ in my area. In fact, a surprising amount.
