AIBU to stay in pjs on Christmas day?

We have DC's 3 and 18 montns, this is the first Christmas we will be staying at home all day, we have family coming to us for Christmas dinner but it's going to be a very relaxed Christmas day for us all due to bereavements in the family this year.
I've got the 4 of us matching Christmas PJ's (cheesy I know but DS was so excited) and was going to change into them on Christmas morning and wear thrm for the day so we will all be comfortable. I don't see the point in getting dressed in our best to stay at home and eat all the festive treats Grin
However some have mentioned they wouldn't dream of having a pj day on Christmas Day (not those coming for dinner).
So AIBU does anyone else do it or is it Christmas best for you?

If I was your guest, I'd want a message telling so I could wear or bring my pyjamas too

Just shows how people differ. I'd hate being invited to someone's home for Xmas dinner and be expected to wear pyjamas.

I've eight for Xmas dinner this year, I can't imagine hosting it in my pyjamas and I'd be weirded out if my guests wanted to wear theirs, although clearly I'd either say nothing or take the piss, depending on who it was.

If it's what you want to do, go for it. Not my cup of tea personally. I don't do pyjama days ever, and especially wouldn't want to on a special occasion. I'd find it a bit depressing and anticlimactic tbh.

If it was just you in the house, no issue do what you like. With guests coming for dinner, no way would I dress in pj's. It would be embarrassing for them.

I'll be wearing a Christmas jumper and PJ bottoms this year, I'm going to the vicar's. The vicar is my mother I will walk there in jeans, get changed there, and be comfortable.

I will be out walking my dog at 7am on Christmas morning but I will be coming home as getting my make up on and straightening my hair and putting my clean Christmas pjs on Grin. I will change for dinner just because people but if you don’t need to the go for it.
