To be sick of people putting their political views on facebook

Maybe I’m wrong but unless you are in politics I think who you vote should be private. In the last few weeks I am continually being bombarded by peoples criticism for the party they oppose on Facebook. It’s not going to make me change my mind and I find it quite aggressive. Aibu?

I deactivated facebook as I was sick of seeing the arguments, silly memes and nastiness, from supporters of both the main parties

The last straw was when an old school friend posted boasting about how her DH had just verbally abused a Labour candidate who had knocked their door, and how "funny" it was. fucking pair of idiots
