Would this be bad for my career?

In a nutshell should I APPLY for this job...or would it look bad professionally.

Same company for 5 years and worked in 1 department lets say its compliance.
Became a "first level" manager after 2 years. 1 year after that stepped into a more senior role to support the department during a tough time- no extra pay or job title change initially and this happened after 6 months- so i was then level "1.5" lets say
2-3 months later my job was rebranded as level 2. Job title changed and pay- but my job has pretty much stayed the same for 1 year its just that people could see i was doing more than my job title and paygrade

So I have had my "new" wage and job title for around 3 months only.

Another department- lets say its the quality team- have a role advertised which is more senior job title and more money than what i am on now. Would i be stupid to apply seeing as ive only "officially" been in my job a handful of months, but have been technically doing it for just over a year? Obviously i may not get the job but jist thinking would I looo unprofessional or like a job hopper?
Thanks in advance

If you want the job, and you are allowed to apply both through your conditions of service and the specification of the job, then apply and demonstrate your suitability in your evidence.
Even if you don’t get the job it will be experience for next time.

Perhaps you can discuss it with your manager or some other more senior colleague.
