I've just been advertised this and I'm not happy at all. Firstly, I wouldn't vote Conservatives if they paid me. Secondly, I think it's underhanded for your advertising campaign to be based on slandering other parties.

MNHQ - sort it out!

All parties badmouth the other parties. It's not exactly surprising unless you've never seen an election before.

Before you get too aggrieved though Monnaliza, you should remember that according to another thread you're a paid up Labour Party supporter so you will obviously feel more strongly about an advert for the Conservative party than someone who is less political.

I imagine MH use a third party provider to fill their advertising spaces, and have no direct control over the exact nature of ads that get used.

In theory they should be able to set a general policy, but it's not foolproof.

It may be that MNHQ were unaware they were pushing political ads ? Especially if the agency itself was lied to by the advertiser initially. (Which seems to be the Tories current Big Idea admittedly).

Adblock plus, NoScript, and a custom DNS server keep me pretty ad and tracking free, so I have to take the OPs word for it.
