to ask what my kids can watch on YouTube?

Unsure where to post this...my eldest DD is 8.5 & recently said she was feeling left out at school as all her friends were watching YouTube & have favourite vloggers, like Norris Nuts. She has a kids Fire table without YouTube kids so I download & saved a few videos from YouTube for her to watch. The videos seem ok but I can’t find any guidance for what’s appropriate for her age. As she doesn’t have the app, she can’t go hunting on YouTube, I have to download everything at the moment. I know the NSPCC rate apps in terms of suitability but I’m finding this world of YouTubers really hard to navigate. How do you decide what (if anything) is appropriate? I feel like there no guidance to turn to for things like this. She has a nearly 6 year old sister so I’m aware that anything she watches, the youngest will also be wanting to watch as well.

For her age group it would be stuff like Jojo

Sorry, pressed too soon.....
Jojo Siwa or Morgz would be suitable for them.

Oh yes I’ve seen all the Jojo mercy about, Are NorrisNuts ok? It seemed fairly harmless to me.

Sorry never watched. Although I do watch a lot of YouTube my son is a bit older. Watch some yourself, but more than one video as I've found the suitability can very wildly from video to video, even with the same youtuber.

Thank you. I love YouTube for me but in terms of suitable channels for kids it seems to be a mine field. So with NorrisNuts it seems to be mainly challenge videos between siblings but then there was a very serious one about the Dad falling ill. So I watch a bit of each one to check it’s ok but it there seems to be very little guidance out there on YouTube generally. Our school did an online workshop but that was mainly about messaging & things like Instagram.
