To change my name to Gags?

My sons girlfriend is pregnant. I’m only 38 and feel too young to be called grandma. AIBU to ask them to call me gags?

What made you think of Gags in the first place? It’s such an odd choice. My late mother was always called by her nickname by the grandchildren - could that work?

I was a step GM at 34. I went for 'Granny'

You'll still be a grandma, just one with a stupid name which will either make people think you're a step-granny or they'll look even HARDER at you to try and see if you're old enough to actually be gran or 'Aunty Gags' don't do it!!!

Gags isn't great. What about Gaga, like Lady Gaga?

I was 37 when my first GC was born , I felt the same until he was born .

I could called anything by those kids , honestly it really doesn't matter once they are here .
