To ask where you work if you work from home?

We have a 3 bedroom house. At the moment it's just DSD, DH and I. DH and I share a bedroom, DSD has a bedroom and the 3rd bedroom is a study. DH does a lot of work from home so ideally needs a separate place to work. We're thinking of TTC and I know it's a long way off but where would you have your study / do work?

I work from home and used to be in the spare room, but now i work in the kitchen at the end of the table. Its a 12 seater table, so my laptop and stuff can stay out all the time and we still all eat at the other end.

We bought a house with a dedicated office because I work from home. The company I work for insist that if you are one of the full-time remote workers that you have a dedicated room with a door that closes, no sitting st the dining table or in the living room. We also have to be properly dressed as if we were at the office. We use video conferencing/calls a lot so they would know if you were in your dressing gown at the kitchen table. So would our clients.

We have an open plan kitchen /dining room/ living area so I usually stick the laptop on the kitchen table. I'd feel closed in if I had a dedicated study.

Kitchen table. Just pack away laptop etc when I'm done. I did kit out a spare bedroom as a study but I found it depressing Hmm

My dh has an office and I have a separate room, both downstairs.
He teaches in his study sometimes and people can come round the back without bothering the rest of the household.
I don't have anyone visiting for my work.
We both work from home.

I WFH twice a week and it all depends how I feel.
It's either the dining room table, or my stepdaughters room
If it's very cold, the living room.
I would LOVE an actual office

One of the bedrooms is DH's office. When I work from home I generally plan to do so at the dining table but invariably end up doing it from underneath the dog, on the sofa.

I work in the study, the kitchen table or the living room. Generally the study if I don't' want to be disturbed.

Kitchen table. Too cold to work anywhere else at this time of the year and our kitchen has an aga. So it'd be silly to heat another room.
