During GCSE's i was the most motivated student ever i was determined to get good grades and my effort definitely did pay off . Since a-levels last year i just can't do it , im not revising at all i will ll come home in a slump and in bed and go to sleep straight away and this became way worse after the death of two very close family members months apart . Now i've started year 13 and i am very behind averaging at C's and D's and i do not have the energy for anything . I DON'T WANT TO FAIL . PLEASE HELP

Your best bet is to see you gp and your tutor at school. There will be support to help you.

Cs and Ds at A level aren’t failing grades.

@purpledaisies i did raise this with my tutor and the sixth form team however none of them took any notice of it . i have been feeling like this since the start of last year

Have you talked to your gp?

AmberDalia · 04/11/2019 20:21

Hi. Have you talked to your parents about how you are feeling ? A levels are really tough but you still have time to achieve your potential. If you are feeling down then you must talk to someone, don’t bottle anything in. Sending hugs. X

Amber, exactly the same thing happened to me many years ago. Turns out it was the start of depression for me. When I got help from my GP, I was able to study again (last few months of A levels) and pulled off A grades, so don't give up!

Amber,
It sounds like the start of depression, so Go back to your GP and tell them. Also... Are you eating properly? Are you drinking enough water? Do you think you could have vitamin D deficiency (everybody does these days).
