To ask how I stop bloody coughing??

Had a cold since Thursday, seemed to be a bit better today.
Have come to bed and I literally cannot stop coughing. My chest hurts but nothing comes up. I’m drinking fluids but my chest really hurts.
Tell me how I can go to sleep.

Can somebody explain how Vicks on feet stops coughing?!

Vicks on the feet but don't sleep in the socks apply it thickly for an hour or so then take off the socks and sleep propped up. I had a dry cough for about 3 weeks recently

I’d love to know how the Vicks thing works too. I’m rarely ill but when I am it always comes out as a cough and lasts for blooming weeks. There seems to be little I can do about it but haven’t tried a Vicks foot treatment.....yet!

I can vouch for the Vicks remedy. Don't know how it works but it does!

Night nurse...won't stop the cough but you'll sleep through it.

I put a few drops of olbas oil in my humidifier when my chest is bad, works in a similar way to vicks

No idea how the Vicks thing works but it really very much does
