To be very frustrated with the obviously planted political posts on here already?

I’ve seen “I can’t possibly vote for” both main parties and their leaders since the election was called as well as (slightly) more subtle versions. I feel our discussion space is violated by forces seeking to manipulate us. (perhaps that’s a good thing if a large community of mostly women are worth trying to manipulate?)
AIBU to think HQ need to ban political posts unless they are official q and a sessions with politicians as long as they are brave enough to not vet censure the questions?

I have long suspected that posts on the towel threads are from bots, or maybe an ingenious system of communication hiding in plain sight.

"I always wash a mixed load at 10° and nobody in my family has ever had a day's illness" actually means

"Igor, meet me near the bandstand 24 hours from now, I have some state secrets to share with you."

Brexit got (mostly) shuffled off to it’s own little corner. I feel that was a good thing for the site

It really wasn't. It's the most important issue for generations - and will be for a long time - and needed to be widely discussed.

MNHQ decided we needed worry our pretty little heads about it and consored debate by moving posts out of AIBU into the hard to find Brexit section.
