A washing jumper disaster....what's best?

Stupidly, I put three jumpers in a delicate wash. One is a beautiful bright colour.

Unfortunately, all jumpers now bear bits of colourful lint. All. Over. Them.

What's the cleverest way to get the lint stuff off? A roller?

Please send me brilliant MN suggestions. Thank you

I dont suppose any of them are safe in the tumble dryer? That strips bits of tissue off most things, I dont know if it's the heat or the tumbling but the tissue gets caught in the filter. Would one of those lint rollers or Lakeland sticky mitts help?

Could you get some dryer sheets and try gently rubbing them to lift the lint?

If a roller doesn't do it, I'd have also thought 10 min in the dryer. Do you have a laundrette nearby?

What's the fabric? Maybe try washing again?

I've done this before, but the fabric wasn't terrible delicate so I washed it again.

Wrap some selotape around your hand so the sticky side is facing out, then pat your hand on the jumpers to remove the fluff.

I have a washing up scrubber made out of silicon that has hundreds of tiny nodules on each side. I would use that to stroke along the fabric once the jumper had dried .This will gather the loose fibres easily without damaging the fabric. A rubber glove can be used to similar effect.
