Made a Jamie Oliver choc brownie recipe for some distant relatives who are french and so in my young state, I was trying to impress with how perfect I would make things. Thought I’d serve them warm out of the oven but hadn’t realised that they would basically need to set due to how much choc and butter was in them.

Waited half an hour and then just took the baking tray out with a selection of spoons and we all dug in. They were very nice about them!

Oh nooooo. I once dropped a Pyrex dish containing tarragon chicken for the ten people I had invited for dinner who were waiting for the main course as I took it out of the oven. Pyrex shatters!
