Tips to stop kitten weeing on carpet

We brought home a 5 month old kitten just over a week ago. Most of the time he is using his litter tray but he has had 4 accidents on the lounge carpet- does anyone have any tips on how to stop this?!
When he uses the litter tray I reward with treats.
I have put some foil down on the carpet areas he has wee’d on as I’ve heard this can put them off.
Any other tips would be brilliant?!

Put a litter tray on the spot where he wees. You can then gradually move the litter tray to where you actually want him to wee (move about 5 inches a day).

Cats also sometimes do this when they are stressed. Is there anything that could be stressing him out?

Envii enzyme spray is your friend. Also - is it worth having a litter tray in the lounge while you are in there? Pets at home do a wiry mat which you can put underneath it to catch any dropped litter. Also - I agree with the comments above about cleaning regularly but try to leave a bit of the old (cleanish) litter behind so they can smell it more easily - sometimes a mega clean litter tray is difficult to find for a baby!
