The kids DH and I carved pumpkins earlier. Please can you vote for which one you think is best? Simba or unicorn.
There's a lot of pride riding on this.

I'd also vote Simba! Halloween Grin So good!!

DP hates carving pumpkins but she's actually so good at it which makes it extra annoying!! (I'm useless!) I nag her to do one every year because they're usually so good but she begrudges doing it for some reason! Here's her Jack Sparrow and E.T from the last two years Halloween Envy E.T.'s finger actually glowed! Halloween Shock

do you guys have special tools? How do you do it?? Especially where it's only scraped and not fully cut through.

Simba and unicorn both fab, but simba is superior.

I just found a pumpkin to copy on Google images. Drew it all out with a felt tip and cut it with a vegetable knife. It's actually not that hard. You can find stencils online too.

I copied a template from online (printer wasn't working!) Then used a pin to mark out the pattern.
