I work in an industry where sick days are frowned upon.So most of the time I work on through so does everyone else.
This past week I developed a headache raging sore throat.ear ache and dreadful wet cough.I had a temp of 102 for a.few.days so I asked to leave early once.
One of two of the days I made mistakes as I couldn't concentrate.😰Anyway today I got to see the gp.I was prescribed 1000mg of antibiotics.as he could see I wasn't right and I have asthma. So my breathing is struggling.
I know some people take a.week off.for illness.What.do you think is reasonable.Forgot to mention I've eaten very little all week as I have zero appetite.

@whatisforteamum, I know. Our society is completely broken.

I get something similar to what you’ve described at least once a year and I have between 1 - 2 weeks off, I’ve found if I take an extra day after I’m feeling well enough to go back to work it makes a huge difference because my body needs to rest, if I go straight back to work I usually end up catching something else straight away because my body’s defences are down.

0 or 1 day

It's is all resolved
.Strong antibiotics sleep when I can when I can.
Just.going back to small snacks so I think I turned a corner. So 2 days off then checking in with work.My guess I will be feeling better and will only have had 2\3 days tops. Thanks to all the asthmatics who remind me of is a serious lifelong condition.Easy.for me.to be complacent when I 've hardly used my inhaler in recent years.
