I was looking if there is a forum about kitchen appliances/household stuff, but don't think there is one... So asking here, what are your absolute must haves?
For the longest time I have wanted a Kitchenaid type standing mixer and an Instapot type electric pressure cookers (the traditional ones scare the hell out of me). DP thinks both are waste of space and money. I am looking to see if I can find cheaper alternatives as love to cook, but don't have that much time, and pressure cooker would make things a lot easier and quicker. Or maybe ehe's right and they would be joining our waffle maker on a shelf, gathering dust? (To be honest, it was a cheap one and is really shit and I hate making waffles with it as it does not heat up and everything comes out soggy).
So, a triple question:
a) what are your fav kitchen devices
b) are these all gimmicks or stuff we actually need (granny and Mum had none of them and used to get by pretty well)
c) any recommendation on either electric pressure cookers / standing mixers welcome!

We bought a Jura coffee Machine last year, I’d say I don’t use it as often as everyone else in my house but it’s loved by everyone and produces excellent lattes and hot milk foam for DDs pretend lattes . Looks Amazing in my Kitchen too!

KitchenAid Appliances are Ace, I have the kettle , Mixer and toaster, couldn’t live without them, moved countries with them too!
