Lumbar Lordosis & the nightmare of clothing!

My son is 11, he is awaiting a referral for a consultant and physio to address very obvious Lumber Lordosis - his spine curves in such a way that his tummy and bum sticks out.

His bum cheeks are also like 2 solid rugby balls - trouser splitting solid! They're not fatty at all.

Finding clothing to fit is a nightmare - he's not a boy who wants to live in joggers! He'd prefer a nice 3 piece suit if truth be told! (Only half joking!) He hates that boys clothes are mainly black/navy with skulls and camo and he feels very conscious that he 'looks fat' because the spinal curve make his tum stick out.

My question is ... anyone any experience of lumbar Lordosis and correcting it and where do you get nice clothes for boys - he tends to wear an age 13 from Next to accommodate his bum and because I tumble dry everything and it shrinks slightly! BUT that's a palava as they only do 12+ online!

Gosh, no help, I have lordosis and have to take in clothes at the small of my back. Especially trousers. But nothing like this.

Generous fit from m and s or sainsburys?

I feel for you and your DS, OP - my son ballooned on supportive steroid treatment whilst going through chemo so his proportions were really tough to accommodate. I found H&M to be a lifesaver - they do generous fit lines and my son found their styles much less gimmicky than others. Best of luck xx
