I'm currently in a quandary re: DS nursery & could do with opinions.
DS currently does half the week at his nursery & half the week at the local primary pre-school, with wrap-around care at his nursery.

I've just found out that the pre-school now has a 30 hour place so he could go there FT but with wrap-around care at the nursery. In theory we'd save about £200 a month but as DD also goes there we get a sibling discount so it would be £100. We'd also have to sort out a packed lunch for an additional 3 days a week & figure out half terms & holidays - most of the holiday clubs near us only take children from reception.

So - do we put him in 30 hours at the pre-school - although it is a bit of a faff. Or just keep him on the same routine? He loves the pre-school & is a very bright 4 y.o. so was more than ready to go to school but is unfortunately a September baby.

If it's not broken?
Although £100 a month is not to be dismissed lightly, cost out how much the lunches and holiday care would cost.
My DH insisted we moved our DS from day nursery to a term time pre school as it worked out £200 a month cheaper.... but we then spent £180 a week on holiday care for about10 weeks (the rest taken as holiday for us) so the saving wasn't that great at all, especially as we then went on holiday during school holidays which ended up more expensive too.

That’s what I’m wondering. I also find packed lunches a real PITA. He won’t eat things like pasta salad so we basically rely on ham & cheese sandwiches which is fine twice a week but not every day!
The problem is he really likes it (although he also likes nursery) so I feel a little selfish wanting to keep him in his current routine.
And whilst saving £100 a month would be great, like you said, the holiday costs would prob end up costing more

I would keep him in current situation. He is happy and you will have wrap around care. I think saving 100 will end up costing you more in other ways.
