To think that friend requests on FB that lead to undying love messages are bloody annoying?

Just that really.
I've had two in the last fortnight, from apparently normal men that I know in apparently normal FB groups.

Apparently I was wrong.

Why do they do that?
Do women ever do that?
How many people here have had this?
Bloody weirdos.

Same has happened to me quite a few times,always live in the US and always ex-military.

Sounds like romance scammers to me. Remember the original romance scammers were men women had had a holiday romance with. "I will come to live with you in the UK but first I need to support my sick mother...."
