No AIBU I just didn't know where to post this? My driving test is TODAY. This afternoon. I'm shaking. Really panicking. The thing is I'm not all that bothered about failing if I do something wrong, I can't really afford to do it again which is frustrating but more than anything it's the embarrassment of telling people I've failed! I've hardly told anybody it's today so that people don't know if I fail :( I'm so nervous. Please send help SadSad

I failed. Stupid mistakes. Literally failed 2 minutes out of the test centre and knew I had so wasn't arsed the entire way. I knew I would. I honestly hate myself. I'm so shit.

Put back in for a cancellation test and do it again...don;t give up OP ,,tomorrow is another day to start again afresh,,you can do this you really can....

Sallyseagull · 17/10/2019 18:10

Chalk it up to experience so that next time you'll have learnt by your mistakes.

Areyoufree · 17/10/2019 18:13

Right, but now you know what to expect next time. I failed my first test pretty dramatically - actually stopped the car in the wrong lane, facing oncoming traffic (had it in my head that it was the lane for turning right - stupid mistake). However, knowing what to expect from the test really helped me, and I passed the next time.

He said book in ASAP as I can obviously drive well but I can't afford to pay for the test again until after Christmas now. I also can't afford lessons/practice before then so I'm gonna have to have another set to refresh me in the new year which again will cost a bomb. I'm wasting so much money commuting every day which I would have spare if I had a car not to mention the other every so often/one off journeys I pay for. Its crap.

I failed 3 times. It is shit.

Do you understand where you went wrong?

MummytoCSJH · 18/10/2019 12:26

I do but they were things I've never done before so were totally unexpected, so there's not anything specific for me to work on it was just me panicking that made them happen. I knew exactly what to do, I just didn't do it.
