@FreeStar I posted similar the other week. I'm going that day too and feel anxious. No matter how many people say "oh don't be ridiculous it's just the same as another day" I can't help but feel anxious about it. If I could avoid it I would be

It’ll be busy as usual as there will still be schools on half term but I doubt there will be riots ( that’ll happen after Brexit when reality kicks in Grin ) have a great time!

I'm in London. Our half term is next week, 21st-25th.
I wouldn't worry about protests near parliament, there are always protests going on! If there are riots, they usually start at night so you'd know in advance not to go. But that's not very likely. I'd say it's probably a reasonably good time to visit since our schools will be back.

Next week is half term for all London schools who only have a one week half term (the majority).

The City of London will close on 31st October, as a result of Brexit. Timing it on Halloween as well, are you asking for trouble? The vampires will be out Wink

You'll be fine. I work in Central London. I'll be there all day and then getting the train home (well outside of the city) at end of day. It hadn't occurred to me not to go to work.
